Electronic imaging - The recording of images on an electronic medium, such as tape, disk, or CD. This may be either in digitized form (such as by using a CD array) or analog (as in still video). Electronic imaging is used directly with a digital or still video camera, or secondarily, with a scanner to convert a conventional photograph.
